Looks like I wasn't being paranoid after all: The position I interviewed for won't actually exist, so come the end of December I'm out of a job. I've already got the Tek people up to date, and my boss here at Equitable will give me a reference, so I'm not totally screwed. It just means that my timetable for getting out of town has changed a bit, and may not be quite as comfortable monetarily as I'd like. But dem's da breaks.
