Every once in a while I have a few minutes to spare and I decide to see how the sites in my portfolio are doing. Most of them are several years old; I'd be disappointed if they looked the same as they did in 2005 (or 2000, for some of the older ones).
But once in a great while I'll see evidence of my old layout where someone may have tweaked it instead of just starting over. I actually like that; it means my design/implementation was fluid enough to serve as a basis for multiple iterations of a site's look, instead of being something that gets in the way.
I'll have to compare HTML with my old, archived version when I get home. Screen captures (possibly) to follow.
