One thing that got missed in the seven years I wasn't posting anything here was that I got a new job in 2016. Kind of.
The company that I'd been working for since I moved to Virginia in 2005 got bought out by a competitor, and I started working for that company. Since the new company is in Jacksonville I've been working from home for the last six years. It took some getting used to but I can't imagine going back to working in an office every day now.
Aside from that not much changed. I'm still supporting the same legacy system I had been, but now I do it while wearing my pajamas. Not much else to say about it, really. Meet the new boss, mostly the same as the old boss.
